Reading BEE-lievers
The Reading BEE-lievers program has finished another successful year of bringing students to the library to promote literacy. The students read lots of different books, learned phonic skills, used e-readers, and gained confidence in reading. The students did a great job and should be very proud of their work. Thank you to Mrs. Becky Hoehn, 4th grade teacher at Bridgman Elementary School, for her dedication in making this program a success at the Library. Also many thanks to our dedicated volunteers - we could not do this without you!  See you all in the fall.
"PAWS"itive Reading Returns
Come and read to Teva!!!
The old saying goes that, " dog is man’s best friend”, and the Bridgman Public Library is helping to prove that with its "Paws"itive Reading program.

Pawsitive Reading is a program that can be a tool to help children, especially those who may wish to improve their reading abillity or ESL students.  A teacher, parent or guardian may call the library at 269-465-3663 to register a child for a 15 minute appointment with our furry friend, Teva and his handler, Miss Dee.  Help your child build confidence & improve his or her reading skills by signing them up for this fun opportunity today.

Last session for spring will be Tuesday, May 8th beginning at 6:00 p.m. Call the Library to set up a time for your child to read to Teva. This program will resume in the fall.
