Board Vacancy

The Bridgman Public Library has a vacancy on its board beginning December 1, 2017 for a one-year term.  The Bridgman Public Library Board is the governing and policy-making board for the library.  All positions are voluntary.  Persons interested in the position must be residents of the City of Bridgman and send a letter of interest to the Bridgman Public Library Joint Board of Directors, 4460 Lake Street, Bridgman, MI 49106 by November 1, 2017.  The vacancy will be filled by the Joint Board of Directors at their meeting on November 28, 2017 at 8:30 a.m.

Please help

Please help develop a Strategic Plan for the Bridgman Public Library. In order to better serve Library patrons, your input on a variety of topics is needed. Your responses will help greatly in planning the future of Library services and programs.

The survey was developed by the independent Library Strategies Consulting Group, and all responses are directed to Library Strategies.

Saturday August 26 @ 1:00 p.m.  Come to Hogwarts start-of-the-term feast. Join us for pizza, magical snacks, and a documentary on your textbook author Newt Scamander. Enjoy this rousing adventure with fantastic beast and where he found them. Please wear your Hogwarts’ uniform.

Saturday, September 16 at 10:30 a.m. Learn how to turn organic matter into fertilizer, for your garden and houseplants, with the help of kitchen waste + worms!

Technology Class-Privacy & Security

Wednesday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. Learn about basic privacy and security for the internet and cell phone. The class will cover password management, terms and conditions, and cell phone location settings. Space is limited, so please register at the front desk.

Evening Story Hour Wednesdays

June 7 – August 30 at 6:00 p.m. This summer we are excited to offer family story hour every Wednesday night! Join us in the Bridgman Public Library Story House for stories, songs, and activities. Ages 2-5. 

Yin Yoga with Cheryl Meadors - Good for beginners

Every Thursday 6-7:15 pm  Participation fee: $10 (cash only to instructor) 50% of proceeds benefit the Bridgman Library.

Mondays, Baby and Me (ages 1-2) at 10:45 a.m.

Tuesdays, Toddler and Me (ages 3-5) starts at 9:30 or 11:30 a.m.

Tuesdays, Story Hour (ages 3-5) is at 10:30 a.m.
